Whether it was Ibanez, Aria or Yamaha it seemed innovation and playability were continually moving forward. This version of a very familiar 3-pickup Fender guitar design stands heads above almost anything else at the time. The sleek alder body and set maple neck fit the player like a glove and the three blade pickups provide a unique but very accessible tone. It's beautifully hand-made and very light at just under 7 1/2 lbs. The pickups each have an individual on/off toggle switch which many players actually prefer. Once you play this thing it just may become your favorite!
