SOLD 06/2020! This is a great example of the early, made-in-Germany ones and they are sought after for good reason. Forget the direct comparisons with Spector basses from the same era, these basses are standouts in their own right. This one has fairly stunning AAA solid quilted maple body wings that almost shimmer when you look at the bass from different angles. And these pics are taken before I oiled the entire bass to enhance (and preserve) the beautiful woods! The contoured body is even more exaggerated and this one practically cradles the torso like some giant wooden spoon. Perfect... and I mean perfect, balance with the added security of recessed Schaller Straploks enhance the player's comfort.

The Bartolini preamp looks like it was a factory option or, at the very least was added soon afterwards by an authorized dealer. I say this because the name 'Bartolini' is meticulously blacked-out on all the internal electronic components. But there is no mistaking the Bartolini pickups! This setup adds a bit of depth that is not present on MEC-equipped basses without sacrificing the signature tone that made the Streamer famous. The 5-piece maple/wenge neck tapers down to a mere sliver to make this one of the fastest-playing basses I have ever touched. Solid maple basses usually take a toll on the shoulder but this one comes in at just 8 1/4 lbs; beauty AND comfort in a single package! Comes with the original black tolex hard case.
