SOLD 10/2021! Sometimes really hard-to-find basses just show up at my doorstep! This is a fabulous bass in the Warwick tradition and it's Made in Germany. Officially, it's a Thumb Bolt-on Limited Edition model. The serial number is 6/040 and I'm not sure if that means it is number 6 out of 40 produced or '6' is the year and 040 is the serial number. Anyway, these are super-scarce these days!

The bass has a fabulous bookmatched poplar burl top over a a 2-piece swamp ash body. Matching burl headstock. This is the ultimate combination of tone woods and contributes to its ridiculously light weight of just 8 1/4 lbs. The bolt-on neck is a 7-piece design with four flame maple pieces separated by three thin wenge spacers. Wenge also separates the front & back of the body as well. It features an MEC P-pickup and a large humbucker near the bridge. The super-clean 9-volt preamp has concentric volume/pan, mid and concentric bass/treble controls. Black & gold hardware is used throughout.

You can have your choice of either the superb ultra-padded Rockbag the bass came in or a 90's Warwick Streamer hard case that cradles the bass nicely.
