SOLD 11/2022! I like these basses so much I bought another one in a different color. I'll be the first to admit that this style is not every player's cup of tea. But if you look past the brazen death-metal persona you will find a bass that is much more versatile than it looks. It has an MM/J pickup set up that is matched to a 9-volt preamp with volume, pan and 3-band EQ. The quilt maple top is finished in trans black with an alder body. It has a 5-piece bolt-on maple/walnut neck with rosewood fretboard and full 3/4" spacing at the bridge. Take a look at the fairly incredible trail-of-fire inlay. The flame theme is apparent on the body as well where the entire chrome flame cutout is an integral part of the bridge and adds loads of sustain! The bass still weighs a reasonable 10 lbs and is perfectly balanced. It's made in Korea and not Indonesia or China. It's also in near-mint condition and comes with a nice molded hard case.
