SOLD 10/2021! This is still one of my all-time favorite basses! It's kind of a hybrid between a Thunderbird and a Jazz Bass with a slim, wide neck and super-solid feel. And the the tone of the two lipstick tube pickups is unmistakable. This one has the original black finish and all the parts are original with the exception of the control knobs. This is a long bass but it's very well-balanced and if you have ever played an early 60's slab Precision Bass (or a reissue, for that matter) then you will be quite at home on this one. It's Made in USA! The single-coil pickups each have their own volume & tone controls and there is a 3-way pickup selector switch. The tortoise pickguard and reverse Kluson tuners just add to the vintage vibe. Weighs 9 3/4 lbs and includes the very hard-to-find original case.
