TRADED 10/2022! I love Schecter basses from ANY era in any form. They've always been well-made and historically, are great deals for the money. The Diamond Series is usually associated with moderately-priced neck-thru models with the look of a higher end bass. This one breaks the mold and gets back to the bolt-on roots & traditional look of some of the early made-in-USA models. It starts with a natural swamp ash body with a satin finish. Add a bolt-on maple neck with really cool offset block inlays which double as side position markers; a really cool thing that nobody thought of before. Black Hipshot Style "A" bridge and high-ratio black Grover tuners highlight the all-black hardware. The cool black Tele-style pickguard just adds to the look. 

The pickups are the latest EMG P/J models and are paired with the Deluxe preamp that features concentric bass & treble controls. This gives bass has the clarity of a Sadowsky Metro and the punch of a Spector while still retaining the ability to dial in old-school tone. That's what sets this bass apart and I'm not kidding when I say this bass has earned "The One" status; it's not a term I throw around just to sell a bass! Even little details like the angled neck plate for full access show the player that this bass was designed with them in mind. It weighs only 9 1/4 lbs and comes with really well-used SKB hard case with about 100 stickers on it or if you prefer, a very nice gig bag.
