TRADED 02/2022 ! This is the coolest 'relic' bass I have ever played. It's not trying to be a clone of a known brand of vintage basses; instead it takes the well-loved vibe to an entirely new level. It's made in Germany so I knew it oozed quality & craftmanship at first look. Right off the top I've got to mention the flame ash body that is beneath the beautifully distressed white finish. In a way it's a shame that most of it is hidden by the finish but the parts that peek out just add to the intrigue. The neck is just as well-aged and the bass truly has the feel of a 45+ year-old instrument. It's very light & resonant and has a passive tone that really nails it. I thought about putting an active BT circuit in but quickly realized that wasn't the way to go. Very light and comes with the deluxe Sandberg gig bag.
