SOLD 01/2022! If you are looking for the ultimate Stingray tone, this is the one for you. It's got the biggest tone of ANY Stingray I have owned since the 1977 natural I sold to Andrew C over 15 years ago. Not only that, it's a pretty rare color with a matching headstock thrown on for good measure. This bass is certainly not mint and the biggest culprit is a series of finish cracks & dimples on the bass side from a previous bracelet-wearing owner. But it's a bass that was destined to be played and played it was! It's also got a rosewood fretboard which really rounds out the in-your-facedness of the pickup and preamp. This bass plays great and is so magical I am conveying "the one" status on it and not many of my offerings attain that lofty pinnacle. That title has to be EARNED! It's not too heavy at 9 1/4 lbs and comes with a reasonably beat up original case, too.
