SOLD 11/19! I've always favored bolt-on Smith basses over the neck-through models. No, it has nothing to do with cost! They just seem to have more immediacy and presence of tone and I'm not making this up. This one has solid bookmatched flame maple body wings and a 3-piece maple neck with pao ferro fretboard. The CR come equipped with Smith J-style pickups and the classic BMT 9-volt preamp with volume, pan and a 3-band EQ. Chrome hardware and a very comfy and well-balanced 8 1/2 lb weight. Yes, there's some player wear but this bass was certainly played and not abused. It plays silky smooth and rings like a bell! I've got it in a decent gig bag.
