The bass has a white mahogany body with a flame maple veneer top that really gives it a nice look. The bolt-on neck is 5-piece maple/walnut with a 24-fret rosewood fretboard. Two soapbar pickups and a 9-volt preamp with volume, pan and a stacked 3-band EQ with mid contour switch. There is an immediacy of tone and the bass is as responsive as any 5-string I have in stock right now. Weighs a reasonable 8 3/4 lbs and comes in a quality gig bag.
