SOLD 06/19! I'm in a bit of a T-40 frenzy lately and why not? Even after almost 40 years, these are still one of the most undervalued basses on the market. Made in USA, man! This one of course, weighs about 100 lbs (actually 11 3/4) but that's the price of having a solid northern ash body. I use a wider strap when I play mine. The bass is in near mint condition and the red finish is really pretty rare. It's got a maple neck that plays like a dream and the pickups sound like a cross between an EB-3, a Jazz Bass and a Spector. The neck is slim with a nice profile that even players with small hands can live with. Everything about the bass is heavy-duty and it includes the original hardshell case.
