TRADED 05/2020! This is one of only two BSX 5-String EUB basses ever made! They were both prototypes and never made it into the product line. It takes a bit of getting used to but the sound and feel are worth the effort. Most of that effort involves removing the bass from its gig bag, installing the end pin & side rest and setting up the stand (all parts are included). But the low action and smooth tone make all that effort worth it!

It's got a maple body finished in black with a big maple neck and thick solid ebony fingerboard.  There is a big allen bolt for setting the neck angle and another one for holding it in place. It's actually very easy to reset the action in less than 5 minutes. The heavy carved maple bridge is set in place with pins and there is a piezo pickup set into the body. The controls are volume, bass, mid and treble and in a nod to it's prototype nature there is an on/off toggle mounted to a plastic trim plate. It would be easy to put more advanced electronics in but why mess with a good thing. The heavy gig bag is reasonably compact and holds are the accessories except the stand, which folds up for easy transport.
