SOLD 9/22/18! This is a great new design from the Yamaha Japan factory. You can tell the quality from the moment you pick the bass up. The striking 2-tone ivory/slate green finish is unique as are the bold body lines and finish accents. Even the sculpted headstock is something you wouldn't expect. It's got cutting-edge looks but also has the tone to back it up. The AIR (Alternate Internal Resonance) system couples the bridge to the entire body & neck for ultimate sustain.

The heavy bridge features floating hi-mass saddles and is strung through the body; it's also mounted to the body from the back, a totally unique approach. The tuners have the same satin silver finish. The neck is bolted to the body with a very precise neck joint. The pickups are specially designed single coil models with a center blade that's contoured to the radius of the fretboard. There is a 9-volt battery onboard which powers the tone circuit and also the unique volume controls; they each light red and blue and get brighter as you turn up the volume. It looks cool and works great in dark venues! The sound is unique in that it's got a lot of familiar tones that you wouldn't expect in one bass; Silvertone, Spector, Fender all rolled into one. Includes a nice hardshell case.
