SOLD 09/2021! The 1980's BB1000 is one of the storied basses to come out of Japan. This is the rarer neck-thru version finished in trans red. The body wings are solid maple with a 3-piece maple/walnut neck. It's got great balance and really focused tone; you can get an unbelievable array of sounds from the active P/J pickups. The neck feels like a 70's P-bass with obvious design nods but this is certainly a unique bass in its own right. 34" scale with unique cool tuners and a well-designed and heavy bridge. Weighs a shade under 10 lbs and ncludes a hardshell case.
