ON HOLD FOR TS! No, you are not seeing double. We just got an all-original V-C Classic from the original owner that includes the rare original case! This one is very, very clean with a sweet tobacco sunburst finish that almost looks 3-tone in natural light. The solid body wings are mildly flamed maple and the 3-piece maple neck-thru-body is more figured than the body, It has a rosewood fretboard with 24 frets in great condition and Schaller tuners. The pickups are the custom-designed & hand-wound ones specific to V-C basses only and are in great cosmetic shape. They sound great and each has its own volume & tone control with a 3-way pickup selector mini-toggle. The control cavity is completely hand-wired and shielded in heavy copper tape, signed & dated by Harvey Citron. This one is SN 284 and less than 300 basses were produced in total. It's a beautiful thing when a bass like this weighs only 9 lbs and come with the original hard case, but this one DOES!
