SOLD 11/2023! You've gotta love these guitars just based on looks alone! But this one also delivers as far as raw tone goes and if this is your bag, then this is a great guitar to have. The nuanced wedge body style and "world's simplest" headstock design adds to the overall appeal. That single humbucker is placed as close to the bridge as humanly possible and a single volume control keeps things pure. The tremolo stays in tune although you can't divebomb as much as a Kahler or Floyd would let you. Remember one thing, these were only released under the 'Squier' label because Fender realized the Japan guitars were much better at this pint in time. The guitar functions and sounds great but there is a little waviness in the finish on the pointy horn; the result of a nail polish remover mishap by the original owner. But the finish is stable and really doesn't detract from the overall look. It weighs just under 6 1/2 lbs and comes in a gig bag that protests it properly.
