SOLD 04/2023! I've had dozens of "Licensed by Steinberger" basses over the years. They have all been decent but they have all fallen just short of providing a true Steinberger-esque tone and feel. Maybe that was the idea? But this one really comes close! I was able to set it up with nice low action, Ken Smith steel ball-end strings and it's 7 lb weight really enhanced the experience. The pickups are EMG Select but the 9-volt preamp really coaxes maximum tone out of this setup. There's certainly some wear but no damage and the flip-down leg rest is MIA but in any case, this is a bass that's meant to be played. No case or gig bag (at the moment) but I'm doing my best to locate one!
