TRADED 07/23! Over 50 years I've owned my fair share of Gibson guitars & basses that have had headstock 'issues'. Heck, over 25% of Gibsons ever made have some kind of headstock repair and they are still great instruments! This one had a pro repair done many years ago at a well-known Texas guitar store and it's held up beautifully. With that said, this guitar is all original and finished in cherry red. It's got nice uniform color over a nice mahogany body and neck with an ebony fretboard with 22 frets. The original medium frets are in fine shape. The 2 pickups are very strong and give you that classic, raw SG tone favored by Townsend and Angus Young. The original Grover tuners still work nice & smooth. The tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece are also in fine shape. Finally, the guitar weighs in at just  1/2 lbs and is a dream to play. Comes in a nice SKB SG case and is priced to be "player friendly".
