SOLD 12/2021! You know, I could easily part this bass out and make more money but that would be a shame. This bass has had a very minor headstock (more like a stress hairline) repair at some point in its life and it's a very good job that is rock-solid. The bridge has been upgraded to the new Hipshot model with offers much better sustain and also adjust in ALL directions and is much more functional than the original. The bridge pickup is from an older ripper but is a perfect match to the original neck pickup that's on the bass. All the electronics are original as is the rest of the hardware. Everything works and the neck is perfect. The bass plays great and you just can't beat that Ripper tone! These were never light but this one weighs in at 10 3/4 lbs which isn't too bad. Include the original Gibson hard case. With unmolested Rippers currently pushing $2800+ this is a good deal for someone who wants a reliable & solid player.
