TRADED 07/23! If it didn't say 'Japan' on the headstock decal you would think this is one of the finer USA Fender guitars out there. That's the point I have been making for 30 years! These MIJ Fenders equal or surpass the USA models in tone, playability and authentic looks. The forward Tele tone you've come to expect is present and accounted for and the guitar is quite clean with minimal player wear and one little ding on the edge. It's got an alder body with a maple neck and weighs in at 8 3/4 lbs. Comes in a nice gig bag; I'll root around for a Fender one in the meantime.
