SOLD 07/22! I've never seen this model as a fretless bass! It's certainly an unlined factory fretless with the side dots in the proper position for correct intonation. Can you call it a Duff Bass? I would hesitate simply because he didn't play a fretless and I don't resort to cheap shenanigans just to sell a bass. But it's a cool bass nonetheless and pretty worthy in it's own right having been produced the the 'Golden Age' of Japanese Fender basses. It's pearl white with a neck finished entirely in gloss black. Black hardware and no pickguard (these never had one), passive P/J setup with 2 volumes, master tone and a pickup switch. The front has its share of nicks & dings but the back has an area of well-worn buckle rash and a big ding. At least I can tell it's a swamp ash body from the wear spots!  Weighs only 8 1/2 lbs and includes the period-correct and protective Fender gig bag.
