SOLD 11/2023! This is one of the cooler Carvin basses produced just before the Keisel takeover. It's really a joy to play with lots of contemporary tones and a fast neck. It's got a 4A quilt maple top over alder body wings and a one-piece maple neck thru the body with an ebony fretboard with a matching headstock. The quilt really stands out under the finish and the jet-black ebony fretboard really looks great with no dots or inlays (there are side dots). It's equipped with Carvin soapbars and 18-volt preamp with volume, pan and concentric mid/frequnecy and bass/treble controls. The stacked knobs look a lot better than 5 or 6 individual ones would! The finishing touch is the all-black hardware. Did I mention the bass is like-new? At 9 1/2 lbs it's still light enough to play for long periods and the long horn really distributes the weight evenly. Comes with a tweed Carvin hard case.
