SOLD 07/19! One of my favorite designs of the past 20 years and hard-to-find in a fretless version. This is one of the most expressive and versatile fretless basses I have played and the deep indigo color is way too cool. These feature a solid luthite body (same as Ibanez BTB models) and a composite fingerboard that is very consistent along its entire length. The single Bartolini pickup is in the 'sweet spot' and the 9-volt preamp features a 3-band EQ and tone switch. The compact design and 7 1/2 lb weight make this a performer's dream but it's the tone that sets this one apart. You don't have to struggle to coax upright bass tone out of it and there are no 'dead zones' at all along the entire length of the neck. Made in Korea. Includes gig bag.
