SOLD/TRADE 02/21! The Distillate was one of Alembic's top offerings in a much more player-friendly package. With two Series I ceramic pickups and similar electronics it's kind of like a 'Series I Lite' for lack of a cooler term. You still get the Q-filter switches for both pickups, a tone boost switch and a 4-way pickup selector switch ('off' is the 4th setting). About the only difference is the single volume & tone for both pickups. The body is book-matched zebrawood over a mahogany core with a 5-piece maple/mahogany neck. The headstock is laminated for strength and also has a zebrawood overlay. This bass weighs a hair under 10 lbs which is feather-light for an Alembic! Comes with a TKL hard case.
