SOLD 10/05/2019! This is one of the earlier ones that was Made in Korea (not China) and the feel is evident immediately. Epi always did a good job with the T-Bird design and this one really stands out for playability and sound. Solid Mahogany and a mahogany bolt-on neck with rosewood fretboard. This is a true custom bass with special 'rose' graphics on the pickguard and beautiful rose inlays where the small dots used to be. Each one is hand-carved out of pearl and abalone and inlaid beautifully with no unsightly glue edges to ruin the design. The 12th fret inlay with a detailed full-color rose inside a solid MOP block. A LOT of work went into these designs! And if you think this bass is for girls only then think again because art is not gender-specific. Enough rhetoric! The (2) ferrite pickups and passive vol/vol/tone controls faithfully capture the T-Bird vibe and the black hardware gives it a nice, understated look. More good news is the bass weighs only 8 1/4 lbs. To top it all off a heavy-duty gig bag form-fit just for the bass is included.
