SOLD 07/11/2018! This is so much bass for the money it's hard to believe that it's made in the USA! But smart players are starting to recognize the quality & value of 'vintage' Peavey basses that this won't last long here. Featuring soind koa dody wigs and a 5-piece koa/purpleheart neck with body spacers, it looks like it should command twice the price we are asking for it. It also has a thick ebony fretboard with abalone inlays and 21 frets and a carved headstock. Black Schaller bridge & tuners add to the pro feel of the bass. Finally, the bass has a P/J setup matche to a 9-volt preamp with volume, pan & bass/mid/ treble controls along with an active/passive switch. I have a nice SKB case with this one but it will need a new handle although the one on there is totally OK.
