TRADED 01/2020! It's quite rare to see a 'boutique' bass is such (let's call it) 'well-played' condition. This was clearly a touring band's bass and probably a metal band at that! There is a series of dimples along the bass side that clearly means it was worn low and played by someone who always wore a bracelet. There are so many dings, scuffs, wear spots and general havoc going on here that it's actually kind of cool. One thing that stands out is how well the neck and frets were maintained; this bass has absolutely NO buzzing or dead notes and every note sings out with perfect intonation. Underneath all that wear and the trans black finish is a beautiful quilt maple body along with a 3-piece maple neck through the body. Heavy machined bridge and gold Gotoh tuners, EMG-HZ pickups and an 18-volt EMG preamp with volume, pan and stacked bass & treble controls. The neck is 2 1/8" wide at the nut with 11/16" string pacing and a 34" scale length. You get lots of maple and it shows with an 11 3/4 lb weight. I didn't get a case with it but I'll dig around for a hard case that fits it properly.
