TRADED 10/06/2018! This is a very early one that I believe I sold new way back in 1996! It has a few details worth mentioning. First, it's one of the entirely handmade ones when Hugh McFarland was still with Lakland. It features the early non-logo bridge and the early body style with the small horn and shallow cutaway. But this one has the wide control spacing and output jack on the side making it a true 'transition' model. The swamps ash body has a beautiful tightly-figured quilt maple top with translucent burgundy finish. The bass is in remarkable condition with very little handling wear and only a few insignificant blemishes to speak of.

Of course it has Bartolini MM & J pickups and 9-volt preamp with volume, pan, bass, mid & treble controls and a mid-contour toggle switch. The maple neck has (5) recessed bolts and no neck plate along with a rosewood fretboard with large birdseye maple dot inlays. The neck is perfectly straight and I have the action set as low as possible right now. It can easily be raised but I am going to leave it that way just in case it's the perfect setup for you! It weigh a reasonable 9 1/4 lbs and comes with the old-style Lakland white tolex G&G USA hardshell case.
