SOLD 06/22! Most people (myself included) never realized or appreciated the fact that these early ones were Made in USA! They have developed a strong following in recent years which isn't surprising. It's always been a cool design and this one has a matte blue metallic finish, maple neck with black lacquer finish and the trademark Diamond Plate pickguard. It's also got a 'real' active 9-volt Stingray preamp with 3 knobs for that distinctive old-school growly tone. The finish has been sanded off the back of the neck for smoother playing and it weighs just 9 3/4 lbs which is a lot less than your typical Stingray 5. These 5-strings are quite scarce and the cool color makes it even more desirable. Comes with a nice gig bag.
