Now that Esh is making basses again in Europe, I figured it was time to dust off this original classic! This is a totally hand-made one from around 1989-1992 and a pretty rare one at that. Features a bookmatched solid flame maple body, bolt-on maple neck with 2-octave rosewood fretboard and a really distinctive neck joint design. There are two Bartolini soapbar pickups and a custom 9-volt preamp with volume, pan, bass & treble controls. The control knobs are actually inset into the body for a really low-profile look. Chrome Schaller bridge and Esh logo tuners and a jack that's inset on the lower bout. Plenty of player wear on this one but no buckle wear or damage. The bass weighs in at 10 1/4 lbs and comes with a hardshell case.
