SOLD 07/19! Certainly a candidate for the best bass if all time to be made in Japan! It's right up there with the Ibanez Musician and Aria SB-1000 bass. This one is a beauty with bookmatched rosewood top and back with a 5-piece maple/walnut neck thru the body design. Rosewood fretboard with 22very clean frets. The original finish is in great shape but has begun to cloud a bit in spots from age. Two ceramic soapbar pickups and an active preamp with volume and tone for each pickup along with a 3-way voicing switch for each. This bass really stands out in its own right and not just as a 'poor man's' Alembic Series I! Gold-plated Schaller bridge and tuners, 9 1/4 lb weight and it comes complete with a hard case.
