SOLD 08/2021! I got lucky again and just got this 1972 P-Bass! It's everything you picture when you think sunburst, maple & tortoise and this is a really light one at just 8 lbs 9 oz. The bass is all-original with the exception of a Bartolini pickup that was put in when the original pickup went bad a few years ago.  I can tell you from experience that the Bartolini sounds much better without any mods to the instrument. The sunburst finish is vibrant and is in very good shape with no buckle wear and just some chipping around the edges and near the neck plate. The maple neck is in superior condition with very little fret wear. It's also got some fantastic birdseye/flame maple figuring which really makes it stand out in a crowd, These are getting so hard to find! This one comes in a modern Fender molded hard case.
