This is about the loudest acoustic bass we have had here, going head-to-head with the likes of a guild B-30 and a Tacoma Thunderchief. And it costs a fraction of what those instruments do! It's very well made with a laminated spruce top, mahogany back & sides and a set neck with rosewood fretboard. Quality bridge design and a perfectly straight neck. It also has a passive preamp with simple volume and tone controls which still provide ample tone when plugged in. No case or gig bag.
