SOLD 5/5/18! I've had a passion for Tune basses since the mid-1980's when I realized the high quality of Japanese basses in general. They were ahead of their time in many respects and still hold up as great players today. The TWB Series carries on the tradition of good looks and great design all with the player in mind. These latest versions are great values for the price, especially on the used market.

     This one has a nice bookmatched flame maple top and a mahogany body with a totally unique design (that's pretty rare these days) for balance & playing comfort. The two wide-range soapbar pickups are low impedance for minimal noise and full range. The 18-volt preamp is the perfect match with volume, pan, bass, mid & treble controls. There aren't many tones you can't coax out of this setup! The bolt-on maple neck has a 24-fret rosewood fretboard and a matching flame maple headstock. The neck is very fast with a 34" scale along with 1 7/8" nut width and 11/16" string spacing at the bridge. The bass weighs 8 1/2 lbs but it feels much lighter than that due to its superior weight distribution.

     Gold Gotoh bridge and tuners complete the classy package and it comes in the original Tune molded hardshell case with formfit interior for maximum protection.
